4. Principal investigator in project No. 034/422 “Evaluation of Diagnostic Value of Serum C-reactive protein and IL-6 levels as early diagnosis of meningitis and neonatal sepsis”. Funded by King Abdulaziz University, Grant No. 16. Final Report 2003.

5.  Applied the “Log Book System”to evaluate the six year student’s exposure to different cases, and monitor their attendance. (2002 – 2003).

6. Project 001/420– Optimizing Theophylline use in management of bronchial asthma in children and neonatal apnea. “Funded by King Abdulaziz University, Grant No. 14. that involves the extensive effort in managing asthmatic children by applying the National and Saudi Protocol of Asthma. Setting up Asthmatic Clinic with my colleague was opened in the year 2002 that leads to the decrease number of admission of asthmatic cases.
